IPP as a strategy that promotes environmentally friendly products and production methods using different instruments at the same time is part of our future.
The purpose of IPPC is to achieve integrated prevention and control of pollution arising from industrial activities Europe wide. Mills producing over a threshold of 10/T a day will be subject to permitting. The textile BREF is a best reference document for industrial processes/activities, which will provide Member States with technical guidance on the granting of permits.
WASTE & RECYCLING

* To promote the design, production, marketing and use of consumer products and services that has reduced environmental impact during their entire life-cycle
* To provide consumers with better information on the environmental quality of products and services.
Products, which comply with strict ecological and performance criteria, are awarded with an ecolabel logo. Continuous improvement and market related changes are essential.
